Leave some white spaces in your pages and don’t fill-up every corner with text or images just to make it look content-packed. Before deciding on what to include in the pages of your site, you have to be sure that you only include related information. Any information that has nothing to do with the main content must be scrapped.

Let it be known that the format that you employ has a corresponding effect on your site. If wrongly used, the image size or quality might come out differently as expected.
Say for example you want the image that you want to use has a lot of different colors, you can use JPEG. This will allow your images to retain its different shades only that if you compress your file, JPEG files tend to lose the sharpness of an image. Other formats that you can use are PNG and GIF.
But you have to know what purpose they serve, too. Furthermore, there are also sites that mistakenly leave its visitors clueless about what the whole thing is really all about. Use headlines or tag lines to further impose the purpose of your website so people would know what you have to offer.
