A Guide To A Successful Pay Per Click Publishing

Tags: , , ,

There are many ways of earning easy money online. One great method is through Pay per Click or PPC publishing. Nowadays it’s become popular because not only does it not require a huge investment in fortune to start the business but it also does not need a high level of technical knowledge other than the basics.

In business, one needs to know the codes of the trade in order to succeed. Pay per click, as defined by Wikipedia, “is an internet advertising model used on search engines, advertising net search engines, and advertising networks, such as blogs, in which advertisers pay their host only when their ad is clicked.” So for example if website A carries an ad for seller B under pay per click, every time a customer clicks on the ad of B in A’s website, A gets paid by B with a predetermined amount for each and every click.

As a revenue starter in the online business, pay per click is recommended. All you need is to set up a website. Once the website is up and running, fill it with content that is relevant not only to the niche you are focusing on, but also on the product’s ad that you are hosting.

At the same time, it is important to take note of a few important guidelines. 1) Attracting the right visitors. Visitors go to your website because you have the information that they need. Clicking on your pay per click ad is secondary to them. However, if you post advertisements that are irrelevant to your article, you further lessen the chance that they will click those ads.

So if your article is about apples don’t put ads about bananas. Relevancy between your articles and your advertisements is important. 2) Keeping your visitor’s focus on the ad. Since you earn revenue for every visitor that clicks on the ads posted on your site, it’s logical that you would need to get your visitor’s attention to your advertisements.

One way of doing this is by NOT putting anything else on your website that will distract the attention of your visitors from your pay per click ads. 3) Keeping your website updated. Don’t you just hate going to a site only to find out that the information posted there was for last month? Visitors to your site feel the same way you do.

Keep your site fresh by writing new and valuable content everyday. People not only want information but they want information that is relevant now not yesterday. Remember, people throw away stale stuff. 4) Don’t cheat the search engines. If you’re thinking of cheating them by clicking your own pay per click advertisements to show hits, forget it.

Search engines have the technology to check how many clicks came from which area and from each IP address. Anyone would get suspicious if they show 1000 clicks from the same location right. Don’t do it, at least if you want to continue doing IM for a long time. 5) Place your ads in strategic places.

Since your end goal is to get your site’s visitors to click on your pay per click ads, post them in places where they can be easily seen and noticed. Try setting them in the center and within your articles. Just don’t go overboard so much so that every other paragraph of your articles has an ad.

That would just annoy the heck out of your visitors and not only will they not click on the ads they will also not come back to your site so you also lose future revenue. Let’s put it this way, if it will annoy you, it will annoy everyone. Using the above guide, start your own successful online business with pay per click publishing.
