Email marketing is very important to every internet marketer. Many marketers are scrambling to get the most number of email addresses for their customer database. Once you have hundreds or even thousands of email addresses on your list, it will be easier for you to promote your business. However, I am not only referring to the volume of your mailing list.

You should be more concerned with the quality of people in your list. Targeted email marketing is the best way that you can achieve success in online promotion. No matter how many thousands of email addresses you got, if majority of them does not belong to your target market, you will just be wasting your time sending mails to them.

They won’t buy. Probably they would read your emails and accept whatever freebies you are offering, but there is a greater possibility that they won’t buy from you. In the first place, they are not the people in need of whatever product you are selling. So, why would they bother to buy from you? Thus, you must have a targeted email marketing so that you won’t waste your precious time sending mails to people who are not interested with what you will offer anyway.

For newbies in the world of online marketing, you should aim your target at more targeted email marketing. Otherwise, your bulk email list is no good. Now you are wondering how you can achieve this. Well, there are simple and very doable ways that you can generate traffic to your site and reach that sales conversion rate that you desire.





First, you need to know who your real target market is. It’s not sufficient that you are only familiar with your market but instead, you need to define them clearly. Know what their interests, desires, and needs are. By doing so, you will know how to approach them when you write online newsletters.

Speaking the language of your target market will make your mails more comfortable to read. People will be able to relate more to what you have written. This would give them better retention of the contents you have in your newsletter. Second, with the clear profile that you have of your target market, you must then know how to provide solutions to their dilemmas.

Successful internet marketers have the ability to detect the needs of their potential customers and readily provide a good solution to it. Once you are able to provide for the needs of your market, people will be able to take notice of your contribution to their lives. Third and last (but definitely not the least tip on how to have a targeted email marketing), you must make sure that there is indeed money in your target niche.

I mean, you can’t simply identify your market without making sure that these people have the money to spend and have the ability to buy the products that you intend to sell. It is completely bollocks to target a specific group of people who don’t have the capability of buying.

Thus, make sure that your target customers are earners and spenders at the same time. With the great benefits one’s online business can get from marketing through emails, you must not take in stride the importance of employing targeted email marketing strategies.
