The language that you have to use will depend on your target market. To play it safe, use a language that both you and your target readers share in common. Depending on the product you are promoting, if you need to sound like a friend, do so. If you need to sound authoritative, you may do so but don’t sound too intimidating.
Whatever is your target market, be moderate in your approach and be personal. Make them feel your empathy towards them and your sincere desire that they become successful in their fields, too.
