Auto responders are essential tools for your online business. Typically, they are used to prod people to buy their online products. It has fallen into the pit of just being a bunch of sales pitches sent out regularly as a form of advertisement. The most common mistake of internet marketers is they always use them to sell online products when in fact it can also be used in other ways that can lead to conversion without overwhelming your potential customers with the usual selling script.

Why not instead use this tool to build relationship with these people? Make a change and give them a break from the ongoing onslaught of email marketing materials from other online businesses. You can also educate them and give them relevant information about your products. For example if you are selling multivitamin supplements, why not dish out articles about the benefits of having a daily dose of these trace minerals included in your diet or how it can slow down the aging process.

These seemingly innocent bits information are already your sales pitches done in the most subtle and artistic way. The next thing you should keep in mind is to never overuse your list. Your opt-in list is the most important part of your online marketing campaign. Strategically schedule the release of your auto responders so that your recipients will not see them as annoying emails.

If you keep on annoying them, they would unsubscribe from your online mailing list. If you are seriously thinking of making auto responders as part of y our online marketing collateral, start shopping around for a good auto responder service. Paid auto responders are better compared to free auto responders simply because the latter will give you a much more defined sense of freedom in your materials.





Free auto responder services would usually include their company’s logo in your material, like getting a free ride from your ads. Come up with high quality content on your email materials. Don’t just send out one line auto responders and just a link to your website. Give them a little something to read on and in a way, subconsciously telling them to get your products.

Low quality email content and poorly written articles can ruin your campaign entirely. It would be best to proofread your materials, check out errors in spelling, grammar and punctuation before sending them out. This will helpbuild and establish your credibility tremendously. Using auto responders in your email marketing campaign is a very tricky thing to do but if done properly, this can bring in money back to your bottom line.
