If my business is about memorabilia of the 80s decade, I would choose a name that best represents it.
Perhaps I can use www.80sremnant .com, right? It best represents the business since my website will be selling special items that were popularized back in the 1980s. Another factor that I consider is the length of the name. Good domain names are short and not more than four phrases. So, make sure that your URL is as short as possible.
Shorter website addresses are easy to remember. Most internet users don’t want to remember long website addresses, so expect them to forget about your site if you have very long address. Short but meaningful are the best characteristics that make up good domain names. In as much as you possibly can, try to insert a good keyword that best relates to your business as well.
Keywords on your URL will make it easier for search engine crawlers to identify and locate your site. Just a side note, many internet marketers are also earning from a domain name. Aside from the common ideas that we have learned about the function of domains, there is another business side to it actually.
I just mentioned this one since selling domains has become another income stream for many internet marketers who want to earn from selling their unused or old website addresses. See, there are just great earning potentials in good domain names. Aside from its positive impact on the success of your website, it will also have greater market value.
