In internet marketing, owning your own site
needs work in order for it to attract the kind
of traffic needed to make you revenue.
Writing and putting articles on your site is
an important aspect of this need.
This is because since people are looking
for information and your articles provide
it then they (people) will come to you.
One benefit that articles give to your site is
helping it rank high in search engine results.
This is through the keyword(s) or keyword
phrases that are embedded within each
article that has relevance to the site or
page.
When prospective customer(s) search for
your keyword(s) or keyword phrase(s) your
article can come up and if it has the content
that your readers want or like then they
will either stay on your site longer or share
your link with people they know or they may
even re-post your article if they have their
own site or submit it to social networks.
Not only will you benefit from the publicity
but you will also benefit from the back-links
and traffic that such an event can bring to
you and your site.
And since search engines love traffic then
your site can rank even higher.
But the problem is not everyone is inclined
to writing articles or even just writing.
You may be one of those people.
So what are your options?
Well, if you're diligent enough to look you
can get free articles that you can use.
Called public domain, these are articles
are free for anyone to use and claim as
their own.
So if you run across any of these articles
can use them and put your name under
them.
However, be warned that since many other
internet marketers like you may also be
using these public domain articles you
may already find them posted somewhere
online.
So that they stand out from what has already
been posted by other internet marketers
you may need to re-write them - and you
may have to anyway so they include the
relevant keyword(s) or keyword phrase(s).
If you join internet marketing forums you
may get a good Samaritan who will give
away full PLR articles to use as your own.
Some do this because they want to or because
they feel they don't need it anymore.
If you want you can invite other marketers in
the same niche as you to submit articles to
your site under their name.
They would like it because it gives them
more venues to give themselves visibility
and build credibility while at the same time
get link backs to their respective sites from
yours.
You can do this as a stop-gap measure to
augment your site's content.
After all, you don't want your prospective
customers going to other people's site.
You can pay other people to write articles
for you and many ave done that.
Most get freelancers from India or the Philippines
and pay anywhere between $3 to $5 per article.
However, the problem with outsourcing is
you may not get what you pay for or rather
you may just get what you pay for.
$3 per article and you get a $3 article. While
you may get good quality content you may
need to go through a lot of writers before
you get the one you really want.
And while $3 or $5 seem cheap it can add
up after a while.
So what's left?
Well why not try writing it on your own. You
just may be surprised as to how well it comes
out even if you don't like writing.
The thing about writing yourself is you're able
to show your emotions in your writing so readers
can feel your passion.
And since you wrote them, these articles are
copyrighted to you and you only.
If others want to use them they would need
to attribute it to you along with a link back
to your site.
Another thing that's good with writing it on
your own is you can really match your niche
market and your prospective customer(s)
wants, needs, and motivations.
