WIN Your Email Campaign

about internet niche marketing
and making money online?

************************************************************
To succeed online you have
to have an email list.
After all, as they say, the
money is in the list.
It's great to have a huge email
list because in this business
big is good.
That being said, there is one
caveat to that - the email list
has to be responsive which
means that the people on the
receiving end will not simply
trash or delete your message
as it arrives or worst yet have
their email servers consider
your messages as SPAM.
Because let's face it, once
your email is considered SPAM
or even in the slightest
suspicious, people won't
even open it, let alone
read it.
You need to build trust before
you even begin contemplating
selling anything to the people
on your list.
For starters, having a good
autoresponder service is good.
In this case free doesn't equate
to good.
While it may add more to your
costs it is well worth it.
SPAM issues affects your
deliverability but with a good
autoresponder service they
will have built a relationship
with most of the email service
providers so your email doesn't
get flagged as SPAM.
Also, as part of the service
they will actually inform you
if your email has SPAM
triggers that can be blocked
by the email providers.
This gives you a chance to
change your email somewhat
before you send it out.
And when you do set up your
autoresponder emails start it
off with a personal message
from you thanking them for
signing up to your list and
welcoming them to the
community.
Do this in your first message.
Of course you'll be sending
the same message to every
person who subsequently
joins but the point you are
trying to make here is that
they will see that you are
really sincere in welcoming
them, even if it's not really
a personal one on one email.
At the same time, ask them
to put you in their email
provider's whitelist.
Most of the time this is not
really going to be necessary
but you want to have all the
bases covered so to speak.
Once you write your emails
make sure you have a catchy
subject line that can catch
people's attention and make
them want to open your email
to read what's inside it.
If you are able to, do a split
test with a send out to a
small portion of your list
to see which subject lines
works better.
That way you can then use
the higher open rate one
for the rest of your list.
And don't forget to always
have an HTML and a Text
format of all your email auto-
responders.
Most autoresponder service
providers will automatically
translate the HTML version
to a text version or will allow
you to paste the same
message as HTML and
as Text.
And please look out for
spelling and grammar
errors.
There's nothing worse than
receiving a marketing email
with poor spelling and
grammar.
And don't ramble on and on
and on and on. I'm sure you're
just trying to convey your
message but don't do it in
one long paragraph.
Keep your paragraphs short
and to the point.
And don't shout. By that I
mean don't use a lot of
capital letters.
You may do that to emphasis
a word or two but not for a
whole sentence or even a
whole paragraph.
Don't forget the option for them
to unsubscribe from your list.
Yes, while you may not want
your list to unsubscribe you
have to give them that option.
************************************************************
Check your email messages
by test sending it to yourself
or your co-workers.
Sometimes, you'll be able to
see things when it is already
in an email than you would
when the message was still
in the autoresponder editor.
And once you have sent your
email autoresponder campaign
out keep tabs on it.
This way you can change
anything that may need
changing, specially if it's
not opening well or not
converting well.
