************************************************************
Most people think that
marketing is nothing more
than selling your product
or service to people.
Nothing can be further from
the truth.
Marketing is more than that -
it involves actually creating
customer value by giving your
customer what they want and
need so you create customer
satisfaction.
So what is the difference
between what we call mass
marketing and niche
marketing?
For starters as the name
implies mass marketing
involves you selling your
product and/or service to
every possible customer
out there, regardless of
whether they are even
need your product and/or
services or not.
On the other hand, niche
marketing allows you to
focus on only one segment
of the general market - that
segment of customers that
you know would have a need
for your product and/or
services and that would have
the propensity to buy your
product and/or services.
The thing is most companies,
regardless of size, typically
direct their marketing to
specific niche customers.
It allows a company to focus
more of its resources on a
small market segment which
will then become more
efficient and effective than
catering to the entire market.
This is because you increase
your chances of being
successful by focusing
on specific niche markets.
Basically, you determine
what the needs are of that
market segment and develop
products and services that
will satisfy that need.
It also means cost savings
since you have a higher
chance of getting a sale
with the resources you
spend since you don't have
to convince them they need
your product and/or service.
They already need your product
and/or service.
You just have to focus on
convincing them why your
product fits their needs.
At the same time because
they already need your
product/services, once you
reel them in they become
a strong and loyal customer
base for you.
Which means of course
bigger profits for you.
Why?
Because niche customers
understand that it is difficult
to get the product and/or
service they want so they
are more open to paying
more to get it.
At the same time you're
creating a unique product
that in all probability may
not have a competition.
This would result in creating
a name for yourself because
of your unique branding.
You then become the
recognized authority in
your niche and the go-to-
guy for products and/or
services of that niche.
And if you want help from a
system that helps you find
the perfect match between
you, your product and your
market niche then take a
look below.
Find out what it's all about.
Developing an understanding
of your marker will help you
create the product and/or
services that would match
the unique needs of your
customers.
