What's next?
How about creating a product to sell?
A good product to create to sell online is
an electronic book or ebook.
Popular among the computer generation it's
basically a book that you read through your
computer's screen.
No hard-copy to hold on to - simply click the
mouse to go to the next page.
Many find it convenient because they can read
it wherever they have access to a computer
and the internet.
For this reason writing an eBook has become
a good source of income for those people
who have jumped into the internet marketing
bandwagon.
That being said in creating ebooks you need
to do some research in order to be successful.
The most important thing you need to do is
to find a topic to write about.
Ideally you should focus on your specific
niche market.
This way you know what to write about and
at the same time your customers can identify
with your work just as you can identify with
their wants, needs, and motivations.
Because this is the reason you're writing the
ebook for - to answer your customer's wants,
needs and motivations.
And by focusing on your niche you are putting
yourself out to be an expert in that niche thereby
putting you ahead of your competition.
At the same time your writings will be that
much more cohesive since you have a specific
subject in mind.
While it is not necessary to have a writer's
background have at least some knowledge
of proper use of language, spelling, sentence
structure and grammar.
Focus on the structure of your ebook.
Just willy-nilly slapping chapters together
just to create an ebook does not make for
a very nice outcome.
Remember, people will be reading what you've
just written.
It would not bode well for you and your business
if people start demanding refunds because
they can't understand your ebook's structure
and content.
You need to make sure that your ebook has
a flow and is easily readable.
Look at similar products and pick up the way
theirs are structured - it has form, structure
and flow right?
Flow is important - you don't want to wind up
with a choppily written ebook - no one would
read it; and if you're honest with yourself neither
would you.

OK . . . let's say you're done with all that.
The next thing that's important other than
the content is your ebook's cover.
Yes . . . there is an adage "never judge a
book by its cover."
However, they probably did not contend with
the intricacies of internet marketing.
Like it or not ebooks are first judged by their
cover then by their content.
If your cover is not exciting enough; if your
title has no pull then no one would bother
to look at the content to see if it's a worthwhile
buy - even if it is.
Sad but true.
That's why it's important for your ebook's cover
to be interesting, relevant and consistent to the
theme of your niche market.
Lousy covers are a big turn-off among your
potential customers.
Put it this way: ebook covers can either gain
or lose you your customers.
And because there are hundreds if not thousands
of similar ebooks out there you need to make
your ebook stand-out as much as possible.
Make that extra effort to have a well-designed
cover. Use colors that will match your theme
and content.
In using pictures, make sure they will allow
your customers to get a glimpse of your content
just from the picture alone.
