Build Your Online Credibility So Customers Will Come
If you're struggling to make
sales with your products why
not leverage your business
with Google Adwords.
See how you can do it here.
Take advantage of Google's
advertising power to your
advantage.
************************************************************
And speaking of not making
sales, not building enough
credibility in yourself, your
product and your offer is
probably the number one
reason why your customers
are not buying from you.
I mean let's face it, there
are a couple of hundreds
if not thousands of you out
there - selling the same
stuff to the same market.
If you were a customer and
had to make a choice as to
where to buy wouldn't you
go to someone whom you
trust?
We do that in real life after all.
So you also would apply that
in the online world.
That's what your customers do.
So it is important for you to
build the credibility that your
customers are looking for
so they will trust you and
as a result buy from you.
************************************************************
1. Show them that you are a
real person.
Why? Because it's human
nature trust a person rather
than some unknown entity.
Yes you are online and all
but it doesn't mean you can't
show them that you're a person.
Put up a photograph of
yourself - preferably smiling.
It really is reassuring to see
the person you're dealing with
when you're buying something -
even if it's just a picture.
Also, match your photo to
the style of your site and
business.
I mean you're not going to
wear a suit if you're selling
party supplies.
Sure you can but wouldn't
it be a better sales pitch if
you wore one of the
costumes you sell?
If you can provide a video or
audio clip of yourself as you
welcome your customers to
the site.
Again this gives the added
support that you are a real
person.
2. Tell them who you are
Have an "about" page sharing
with your customers who you
are and what your credentials
are.
Like it or not, people are
always curious as to
someone else's background.
Show them why you are
someone that is qualified
to offer the products and/or
services that you're selling.
This helps build trust in your
abilities making them more
likely to buy from you.
3. Give your customers a
guarantee.
A privacy statement will
provide your customers
some reassurance that
you will take care of any
personal information they
might give you such as
their email address.
Giving your customers the
chance to get their money
back should they find your
product unsatisfactory for
ANY reason.
This shows that you want
them to be fully satisfied
with what they bought.
Also, having a longer return
period actually works to your
advantage as well since less
people go for refunds when
the return time frame is longer.
Something about forgetting
about it since they are not
pressured to return it quickly.
4. Give out information that
they can use - for free
Write articles that your
customers can use or get
something from.
If you have the knowledge
then share it.
And for some reason just
being in print somehow
makes you an expert.
And as more and more
people find your posts
helpful and informative
they will come back more
and more and before you
know it they will be
buying from you.
************************************************************
The trick to building credibility
is gaining your customer's
trust.
There is no quick way to go
about it - this takes time
and effort on your part.
People don't trust anonymity,
but if you are successful in
building a relationship with
your customers your
business will boom.
That being said, do remember
that while it is hard to build
credibility it is very very
easy to destroy it.
Always be consistent and
never do anything that can
lose the trust of your
customers.

can use the power of Google

Before you know it your
business will be flying.
